I don't think it matters. 

As long as the file is properly formatted ADIF, I really think the extension can be anything.

Steve, you are correct.
I think what's confusing Jerry is that the entire file name is EX: "xxxx.adi"
When he submits it, he's submitting "xxx.adi.adi"
Maybe that's what you're seeing Jerry.
Rename the file, but regardless, the score wont get bigger...Hi Hi
It'll stay the same, because it IS the same file.

Milt:

File was named "xxxxx.adif" when I sent it, but it came back as "xxxxx.adif.adi" which looked weird/funny/strange.
