POTA Station
Chris, I've been thinking about also doing QRP PSK POTA with a friend who is actively doing SSB POTA, but I will need to set aside some cash to get a portable setup and that won't happen quickly. Keep us informed on time and frequency and I will try to make contact. 73, Buz, WA5AMM "May the best you've ever been, be the worst you'll ever see" On Tue, Nov 15, 2022 at 1:38 PM N9JCA Chris <n9jca1@...> wrote:

I see that a few more people are using PSK31 for a POTA Activation In my book this is great I thought I'd also mention it might be a
good idea to get a POTA Account weather you are a Hunter or Activator The reason for this is so that both Hunter and Activator will get Credit for the QSO Last year when I did an APE/POTA I found out that I had 4/5 QSO's that I didn't get credit for because the station
was registered with POTA Just an FWIW Since I am now fully retired I will be Activating more POTA in the coming months I have over 100 Parks within 100 miles of me so I have enough to keep me busy all
year My GO to Box will be an ICOM-7200 a Beelink Mini PC with
Win 10 and an Eagle 35' Vertical or a Chameleon MPAS 10 - 160 Vertical I'll post a day ahead of time when I'm going to activate a Park Chris N9JCA PODXS #797 73 |
