It's a Go for 160m Tonight and Saturday Night.

The antenna is up and tunes up! I'll be on 1.807 on or shortly before 0200 UTC both tonight 1/26 and tomorrow evening 1/27. Hope to work a bunch of stations. Doesn't matter if we've worked on 160m before or not! Come one come all....I'll be glad for the QSO!

I called CQ from about 10 before the hour to 25 after. No contact, in fact I did not see even 1 trace. All I heard or saw was CW contenders i'll try again tomorrow evening. OK I give up. I could copy William KX4WB but he couldn't here me respond to his CQ. I copied Brian, N2MLP but again he couldn't here me. Saw John KE4JB briefly - inand out. Obviously, this antenna just doesn't cut it. But the CW sure created some QRM. I sure know how to pick a date - what? I'll fool with the antenna again tomorrow and try again tomorrow night. You'll probably have lots of CW tomorrow night. Sunday night/Monday morning might work better once all the contest crowd passes out from too many beers and munchies.
