RESULTS – PSKfest 2022-Updated

This year there were 88 logs submitted - down from last year’s 105 logs. There were 15 High Power, 50 Medium Power, 17 Low Power and 6 QRP logs.

Top Dawg and High Power First place was John, KC3FL, of Inverness FL with 8,832 points and 184 QSOs. That included 38 states. John finished in 3rd place in the 2021 RC3 Championship.

High Power - Second Place was Bob, K4VBM, of Peachtree Corners, GA with 155 QSOs and 6,200 points. Bob is best known for his super-dedication to achieving the 366 Award. Look for him!

High Power - Third Place was Steve, VA3TPS, of Fenelon Falls, ON with 123 QSOs and 5,043 points. Steve finished in 6th place in the 2021 RC3 Championship.

Medium Power – First Place was Buz, WA5AMM of Easley, NC with 152 QSOs and 5,624 points. Buz is a new member of only 10 months and he is coming on strong, finishing in 7th place in the 2021 RC3 Championship!

Medium Power – Second Place was Tom, KD6TR of Camano Island, WA, with 140 QSOs and 5,320 points. Welcome from the NW!

Medium Power - Third Place went to non-member Ron, VE2ESXX of Greenfield Park, QC with 124 QSOs and 4,464 points. Be sure to welcome Ron and encourage him to join us soon.

Low Power – First Place for the third year running was Steve, W3HF of Collegeville, PA with 121 QSOS and 4,477 points. Steve, #25 is one of our senior members. He finished in 9th Place in the 2020 RC3 Championship.

Low Power – Second Place also for the third year running was our Executive Director, Jim, K5SP, of Gainesville, TX, with 116 QSO’s and 3,596 points. Jim finished in 10th place in the 2021 RC3 Championships. All this on top of his continuing efforts as Executive Director to improve our club. We’re glad that you take a break and join us when you find the time!

Low Power - Third Place, was Alan, KA5VZG of Puryear, TN with 89 QSOs and 2,937 points.

QRP Power – First Place was Eric, K9VIC of Plainfield IL with 136 QSOs and 5,576 points. Good to see Eric back in there. From his last upload it looks like he is in line for the 500 Level LONP. His 37 States (SPC) allowed him to beat 2nd place.

QRP Power – Second Place was Rich, AC9NM with 139 QSOs and 5,282 points. Rich had only 33 States.

QRP Power - Third Place was new member Minor, TI2YO of San Jose, Costa Rica with 62 QSOs and 1,674 points. It is so great to have new DX stations on PSK31 to really add excitement to the waterfall.

The new “All Amateurs Welcome” policy continues to enhance our overall experience.   We had 13 non-members competing and submitting logs. Since that time, 5 of them have joined us and we are looking forward to welcoming them as members of our PODXS 070 Club.
