Contest Certificates and other things

I've begun to work on the contest certificates for 2017 today. So there's that, and I think it's good news. Now for the shocking thing (at least to me)..... I just found a stack of *2015* certificates sitting here at my house! I was stunned to say the least, as I thought they'd been mailed out, well, nearly two years ago! I can also find zero evidence that I ever sent out 2016 contest certificates...... I know people really like to receive their contest awards so I offer my most sincere apologies for having dropped the ball on these certificates! ~hanging head in shame~ What this means is that there will be quite a wad of contest certificates leaving 070 Central HQ in the next few weeks. There are also quite a few special parchment ABCD certificates going out, for both last year and year to date 2017. These are the "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty" certificates that go out to people for significant contributions to the club. A "significant contribution" is $25 or more. I know all of you want one of these uncommon certificates in your shack, so please go to the HOW TO DONATE page and make your significant contributions today! I even made it easy for ya - the "HOW TO DONATE" in the prior sentence is a hot link to the donation page.... :-) Please keep in mind that we live solely on the generous donations of our members, as there are no dues for the 070 Club, and we plan on keeping it that way. I appreciate all the notes that I got about the certificates telling me to keep my chin up, basically. Here's a picture of all the contest certificates in their envelopes waiting on me to take them to the post office tomorrow or Tuesday: I apologize for the poor quality image, but it gets the point across. That stack of envelopes is just shy of *TWELVE INCHES* tall! Just thought I'd share that before sending them all out.
