DM49 Expedition
W7RIV
Okay, everyone that needs DM49, I'm going to be going out to Price and operate for a couple hours. I have N4GBK, KC1BOS, and NU4C that have mentioned they need it. I'll be there around 11a Mountain Time. I think I'll set up my antenna looking NE. I'm happy to take suggestions. This is going to be a test run. I'll be down here again maybe even in August. I plan on going APE to DM39 at some point. Message me and stay in touch. Happy to send you my cell phone if you want to try and make sure we meet up. Bryon, W7RIV

I've never operated in this location of DM49, my parents just recently moved down there. If I cannot get you this time, I'll see if I can make another visit soon. It is about 2 hours from my house. I will see if I can leave earlier in the day which would give me an approx arrival time of 10a Mountain time. I will have to be off air and on the road by 230p Mountain time. VA7GEM: There are a lot of people that need DM39 and it is one of the easier ones to get to. I'm working on going APE there in August. The DM47 is also needed, but is a very long distance from my house. I'll need to plan a weekend for that one. That could be a good winter trip for me. DM28 is far, but is still doable. That is in Nevada. I'll work on getting there, but at this time, you are the only one requesting it. Thanks, Bryon, W7RIV

Everyone else probably stuck to UT grids while I ventured further afield in case you need a camping destination. I'm not in the field until Saturday (7/25). There might have been some confusion from my first email to this one. I plan on being on the mini-expedition this coming Saturday. Bryon, W7RIV

Bryon -
Great idea with the spreadsheet. I added myself to DM28 just in case you get there. I can add a whole bunch of WY and MT grids if you decide you want to become a portable wanderer! One request - It would help me out if you used UTC for times as I always get mixed up converting time zones. Will look for you Saturday. Thanks for posting the spreadsheet and for doing the portable. Some of those grids out west are really really hard to come by! Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602
