14.071.5 a Calling Frequency????
Roy, I'll chime in as a 20+ yr PSK op and say this is also the first time I've every heard anyone say that the 1500 Hz mark on the waterfall is the "calling frequency." I think it's pretty safe to say

Where is everybody?
Hi George, People still use it, but it’s not like it was 20 years ago. Most HF digital is on FT8 now, but there is still a reasonable amount of PSK31 activity, you just have to be persistent. Posting

PSKFEST 2022
It's been a long time since I've taken part in a contest, but it was fun. This was my first one from my PA QTH, and I was able to get 39 QSO's on 20 and a single one on 15. Not bad for an attic dipole

I wonder if it is a default macro someone programmed? It is an unfortunate one in the US at least. I tend to use "KN" after "BTU" myself, and "K" after "CQ" or "QRZ." 73 Jeremy N1ZZZ

I remember this exact debate in the very early days of the TDW (2002 or 2003?) and it was agreed that we'd avoid the WARC bands for any activity with a score. However, if there is no scoring involved,
