Valentines Sprint - Get your YL credit

David, K9DWR

I've been spot-checking some of the entries as they are coming in, and I'm
noticing several logs that don't have the OM or YL listed anywhere. The OM
doesn't really matter, but the YL does. YL QSOs count for 2 points, so when
you upload, make sure you have exported the YL somewhere.

As I mentioned last week, as long as its in any of these ADIF fields, it should
get picked up:

'app_n1mm_misctext'
'srx_string'
'srx'
'comment'
'notes'
'name'
'other'
'award' (don't ask)

If you don't have the YL info, and want credit for them, just make a new ADIF
file and re-upload. The system will replace the old entry with the new entry.

Re: 160 For the Valentine Sprint

Trying to find a signal in the QRN was like trying to find the road in a blizzard.  Did get Stan, Mary and Darin.  Saw a few more but they probably couldn't see me.  The storm off shore had the strongest signal.

Where is everybody??

I made one qso at 9 am CST on 40 m. I will be monitoring both 40 and 20.
Give me a buzz.

Tnx John for setting a time to gather on 160m. Worked you and Darin, then Terry, KZ4KX and Mary, KC4TIE in KY with a FB signal down here.

Latest weather radar shows I'll be between red storm masses a bit after midnight. Will be smart enough to disconnect the antenna before then, I hope.

The storm offshore has caused lots of QRN, nearly blocking out the waterfall at times. Surprising to make any QSOs.

Same up here Stan.  First one came through here last evening with lightning, thunder, and heavy rain...two more so far this morning.  My antenna is disconnected so no Valentine Sprint for me this year!  Maybe next year.  OT - it is also Daytona 500 weekend.  So that explains T-storms in central Florida!
