Re: Submitting Multiple Logs

No need to mess with the header. You should be able to cut and paste or use your logging program to do it. Which logger do you use? 73 Matt King AK4MK - 070 #1708 PODXS 070 Club Executive Director

Submitting Multiple Logs
Steve VA3FLF/KM4FLF
How do submit my US and Canadian call sign logs as one .adi file? Do I just cut and paste the info from one to the other or do I need to do something with the header of the file? Steve 2301 KM4FLF VA3FLF

'tis OK, Bryon. Email me directly with your APE adi file and I'll get it submitted. Don't forget your "Tall Tales" as well! Pictures are welcome. Good luck on the job hunt! 73 Matt King AK4MK - 070 #1708 PODXS 070 Club Executive Director

SpotCollector Notes
W7RIV
Can someone please remind me where I can update the 070 and 070L members in my SpotCollector (DX Labs Suite). I did it once before, but it has been a long time. It was something Mr. Westbrook setup I believe. Thanks, Bryon, W7RIV

Ah, shoot. Sorry, I didn't get to my submission. I've been looking for a job since the 28th of August. They restructured my engineering group and I decided that wasn't the place I wanted to be. I've been doing a little PSK31 and also FT8 while off during the day, that has been a nice change. Bryon, W7RIV

Listened on 20M a few minutes ago. Saw a couple of stations calling CQ but none heard me. Mike - W0TMW #2207 -- "Lose not thy airspeed, lest the ground rises up and smites thee." -- William Kershner http://crucis-court.com http://www.crucis.net/1632search On 09/19/2017 11:28 AM, 'Martin Tuip'

Re: Propagation improving
This is perhaps a good indication of the Fall/Winter season coming up, although signals were somewhat on the weak side and still are around 1600 UTC. However , here in the Midwest it's good to hear something other than U.S. stations. 2018 needs to be good for DX as there are still a couple DXCC (like Bouvet Is.) I need to get in log. Still need North Korea, but am afraid it may be a parking lot, by the time a ham station is on the air from that one. Guess I'll have to take amp out of closet and hook it up for 2018 anyways, just in case. Jerry N9AVY

I would say so. Fall conditions always seem to improve whether at the high point or the low point of the solar cycles. At least in my 40 years on being an SWL prior to my ticket. :) VY 73 de Joe

Re: Activity

I tried it when it first came out. Did
not like the speed, since I need time to think sometimes. And it
seemed to need several retries to get a complete QSO. What other
grids do you need Jerry? Planing another trip to the West in
Dec/Jan so if I know what grids are needed we can possibly hit
some of those. Going from FL thru NM to NV and then to CA. Back
thru AZ, NM and TX. 73 Dick KC3EF

Have seen that , too. Probably still part of "New Toy Syndrome" . Have heard that FT-8 doesn't work as well as PSK through noise , but not running FT-8 here I can't verify that. Jerry n9avy
