True,  but it would only be as current as submissions to checker.  However, it would be a place to work from...

Yes, it could be built from submissions from members, but don't forget we also have the log checker's database. That would have a larger sample size than anything we could get from direct submissions for this purpose.

Just wondering if there should be a "most wanted" list for needed grids ???   Maybe it should be limited to 10 or so; so as not to overwhelm the list at first... or 50 or 100 ?

This could be a useful tool for those planning on mini-Expeditions to activate needs grids. It could be set-up on Excel or similar software.

Any comments ???

The database (in an anonymized form) is available publicly for anyone to run stats,  and the checker already provides a page with a lot of the common "who has worked ____?"  questions.
Both are here (also linked to from checker main page):

There are a few specific grids listed on there .. I can add more on request.

Here's a grid map (2010 ARRL survey of needed grids on 6M)

Starting on Aug 20 the xyl and I are going on a trip to CO and some of the other Western states.
The list below shows the grids I know will be covered as they are stopping points.  From the cities/states listed the routes can be worked out.  I will try to post on the site where we are when I hit a new grid while mobile.  I will be running 100 watts to a 20 mtr hamstick with a tuner.  I know the combination does not load on 40 or 15 so 20 will probably be the band of choice.  If anyone wants to try a sked let me know.

Dick -

Thanks for posting this. FWIW, I need three of the grids you've posted: DM95, DM86, and DM56. Does "stopping point" mean you will be spending the night there, and thus might expect to be on the air in the evening?
