Matthew King - AK4MK
Good answer, Rick. To expound upon it, contacts prior to 1-1-16 do count for the 'Leap Day' or '+1' portion of the 'Clock and Calendar' that the '365' counts towards. The '24x7' portion of the 'Clock and Calendar' is good from 11-1-2012 forward. Just a clarification on the details of the whole shebang. 73 Matt King AK4MK - 070 #1708 PODXS 070 Club Executive Director

Re: 365
Hey Randy-
Good question. There is no restriction on the station you work. It can be a member or a non-member. You can work the same station over and over. The only restrictions are that it has to be a PSK31 QSO and QSOs before 1-1-20016 don't count. Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602

For the 365 award, is it any station a day or an 070 station a day?

As an experiment, he built two 300 foot towers and raised a half wave dipole between them. He says his inverted L's beat that antenna 98%
of the time. Granted, his inverted L's are quite properly installed, with extensive radial fields. He also uses beverages for receive, I believe.
My plan is an inverted L with either as many radials as I can get up under it (could be a couple thousand feet of wire done right) or possibly a folded counterpoise..... I'm still studying on that. I'll use one or two of DX Engineering's active receive
antennas or a flag or pennant or two.
I had a half wave dipole bent into an L at the feed point (if viewed from overhead) that was about 30 or 35 feet up. I used it to get my "20 on 160" 070 award and played in an 070 Contest or two, but it was honestly a flop.
I'm really looking forward to my inverted L and 80 OCFD antennas!
Y'all be good!
