Re: Great Contest

Great contest and nice to find it difficult to find a spot on the waterfall.  What  was really wild was what the waterfall looked like at  00:01 Z, thought my receiver died.  A vast empty spectrum.  Tried to upload but couldn't find the upload link.
PODXS ROCKS!!!

Had a ton of fun from WA.  Made quite a few contacts on 40 and 20.   80 no joy.  Great group.

I agree, I saw more traces out west here than I have in a long time. Although I worked several hours, I only managed 11 contacts.  I could hear a lot more than I could work with my stealth antenna. All good though! Got to work a couple of old friends!

PSKfest was great!  Lots of fun on this end.  Thanks to all that made it into my log.

Anyone who says the bands are dead were not on this weekend.  80, 40, 20 all had many PSK signals in the waterfall.  We are the leading PSK club, we should all operate as much as possible, and not wait for contests.  PSK beats FT8 anyday!

Just drop the file into the ACLog directory in your ‘Documents’ folder.  In my case, it is in C:\Users\Ham\Documents\Affirmatech\N3FJP Software\ACLog.  There is probably already an empty watchlist.txt file in that directory.

How do you upload the watchlist file to aclog so the calls will show in the watchlist section on the screen??
thanks

I've had some issues with windows 10.  If that is what yu are running, open up the sound control in W10, and make sure that setting is for the correct card, and check the volume.

Before I left for a meeting I also got slammed with ft8 over my stream.  I'll be back in awhile on 20.

I am out then, I use a IC-706 with a interface from the computer to the data port on the 706

Im using a direct connection from the Rig to the Computer.  It is an ICOM 7300 that has a USB port.
But when Im using WSJT-X I have pretty good sound control  But with FLDIGI and MIXW Its
very very limited.

Re: Sound Card Issue

Are you using a interface or direct to the mic input on the radio?

Sound Card Issue

Scotty W7PSK

Ok, no yelling, but when I use WSJT-X I can run my sound card out settings pretty much in the middle.  But when I run
FLDIGI, to even get down to 50W I have to have it set at 4 on sound.  And its way way to touchy. If I go to 3 its no sound out
5 or 6 and Im at 100W and above 6 its ALC blasting yucky sound.

So, what setting in FLDIGI am I missing thats causing too much audio to hit the sound out?
