Good evening folks.
It has been so good to be back on PSK.  I had some issues with my HRD that kept DM780 from functioning properly, however, I FIXED it this past weekend.
I'll be working 20 and 40 tonight if anyone would like to get me in the log.  I need some stickers!!   Hihi.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Chris, AK3B

Your welcome, Dave.   It took a lot of effort to get everything caught up, stickers and certificates mailed, and we are now up to date on member benefits.

Thanks to all for your patience while the backlog was being sorted out and removed.  We will continue to work hard for this, the best PSK club in existence.

Many thanks to Jeff W3WMU, and Bob KK6KMU for taking the many sheets of stickers, cutting them out appropriately, putting them in envelopes, stamping, and mailing.   Your great work is not unnoticed, nor is it not vastly appreciated.  It's members like you that go above and beyond that keeps the club going.

Jim K5SP

Many of you have already received your envelopes with the stickers in them.

We mailed out over 150 large envelopes with certificates all over the world.  Only one of them has returned, and that is because I blew W7OXB address.

We mailed close to 250 envelopes with stickers in them, and to date, three have been returned as bad addresses.  I need to confirm the correct mailing address with the following to ensure our records are correct.

N8FL - our data has your address as RT1 Box 130a1 in Glenwood WV.  It was returned to sender.

N3UYI - our data has your address as 247 Sweet Gum Drive, Chelsea AL

WB8YXF - We have you as 3311 Galberry Rd. Chesapeake VA, it was forwarded to 233 Jessamine Pl MCGayheysville VA and returned.

Please help us update our records to show the corrrect address.  In a couple of cases, QRZ does not even match.

Thanks in advance,

Search for prior message in Groups.io

Rick - N7WE

Dave et al-
There are a couple of ways.

If you know the message number, just click and enter it in in the box - 1 on the picture.  If you don't know the number, you can do a text search by clicking in the search box - 2 on the picture, and then typing your search string in the pop up that opens.  Hope this helps.

I now know it was in message  #54919 from Dec 17/Jan 18.  I don't see how to search for a message number.  I'm getting closer though.

Howdy, y'all!  Sorry I've been a stranger....

Jim and his team of merry bandits seem to be doing an *OUTSTANDING* job of things!  I wanted to say that right out of the gate.

On the subject of grid credit whilst operating away from home - I'm pretty sure what we did when Rick was travelling was ask him to submit a "dummy" record in his log for each of the grids in which he worked.  Basically a QSO from N7WE to N7WE with the grid worked from in it.  Maybe it wasn't Rick's trip where we did that, but it was somebody...

Anyhow, y'all are a great club and things are looking up!  Keep on keeping on....

I don't know if that was ever formally documented on a rules page. That may have only been "documented" in emails.

Note that it wouldn't have been in APE rules as it applies to all grid activations, not just those in August.

I can't find the information about grid chasing.  I'm finding great info about the grids but not the part about where you get credit for grids that you activate.
Can someone lead me to that info? Thanks

30M Activity Enhancement

stan W9SMR

With all the growing concern of PSK-31 losing traditional frequencies, I recently contacted Don, KB9UMT, 070 #1227, the founder of the 30M Digital Group for his view.

The 30MDG has decided to try an every Sunday Night at 23:00 UTC Activity Hour to drum up some activity. If you are concerned with the ever growing intrusion by other digital modes, crank up the rig and join the party. You do not need not be a 30MDG member to join in!

30MDG PSK plus activity hour every Sunday 23:00 UTC

PSK Suggested:  10.141 to 10.142 PSK

Other Modes: 10.142 to 10.144   -  Olivia/Contestia/Dom/Thor/Thrb/etc., turn RXID/TXID on!.

And take a look at the 30MDG website. They have almost 12,000 members now: (http://www.30mdg.org/)

See you Sunday!

Thanks for all you do!
