Excel

Jim K5SP

Does anyone know anything about Excel?  I used to be able to convert a sheet to html to put on the PODXS070 club website, but am totally flustered with it now.

I originally had Office365 through my college, where I taught.  Retired from that 5 years ago.  Have been paying the annual renewal since retirement.

Well, my license expired recently, and I paid for the renewal, and it said to download the most recent version, which I did.  That was a HUGE mistake.  Now when I try to publish as html, it only give me one publish option and that is to POWER BI, which I do not want, and will not use. I cannot access POWER BI, because the college license used my personal email address, and when I try to create an account it will not let me because it wants a work email, which I do not have.  So, I am stuck. (trying to convert RC3 leaderboard to html from a sheet.).

Is there any way that I can get rid of this POWER BI?  Help please!

Congrats on the 24/7 !!! It's not an easy one to qualify. Lose lots of sleep going after that one.

Saw you several time, but you already had time slot filled.

Next up ???

I still had 5 open slots on for Friday (10-30-2020), and I lost power at 5:15am eastern Thursday due to Zeta coming thru,
so for those last 5 slots, I was running on emergency generator power.  Add to that a neighbor's massive pine
tree tipped over pulling the root ball out of the ground, and snapping off a smaller pine halfway up while coming down, and all landing in my street totally blocking it.  Myself and neighbors spent most of the day Thursday cutting it up.

I  and am very thankful and  in debt to those 070 club members that helped me complete those last slots (Randy W4RTT and Alan KA5VZG) yesterday on Friday.  Also thanks to Bob KK6KMU for all that late night/early morning  bleary eye fun!

Not sure the attached pics are going to make it through, but will try anyway:

You can see the massive pine root ball standing back up with its trunk stub top left above.

Above is a closer view of the smaller pine (just to the right of the remaining pine and the massive pine remnants.

Way too much excitement here in GA hi hi.
I really enjoyed collecting and passing our those hour slots.  Looking forward to more PODXS 070 club member contacts
as I slowly attack the other endorsements.  You guys and gals are the best!

By the way, the power came back on earlier than precicted last night around 10;15 pm eastern time.

Woo hoo !!! #2800 !!! #3000 isn't that far off now. Amazing with the alleged decline in PSK31 operation, PODXS 070 continues to add members. Statistics may not always be accurate and we're proving that !

closing in on finishing the 24/7 endorsement - encourgement and thanks

GA - Bob - K4VBM

With a large amount of help from Bob KK6KMU and Alan KA5VZG, along with many other members over the last
few days (especially Harry  K9HW, that helped me with Wed. 2300Z with literally 4 min left), I am now within 6 slots of completing the 24/7 endorsement.  Many heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been there to help give out and/or collect the slots.

It has really been fun to do this, and meet so many of our wonderful members.  I know that we all have been getting and
passing out lots of hour slots over the last 3 weeks.  I, myself, have had some really nice ragchews with members,
and non-members wondering what is going on or just answering my calls (hopefully we will get some new members from this).

Even though we are sleep-deprived, we are hanging in there, and making great progress.

For those of you who still need it, I will be on 40m and 80m Friday for the 0600z and 0700z slots - yes, those graveyard times
which I missed during one of the weeks when my alarm clock failed me. From 0630z to 0730z for sure. If you need them, I hope to see you on those bands during that hour.  Don't be late like I was!  :)

Make sure you join the 070 club 24/78 chat on Google groups.io (yes, you need a login) to groups.io.

https://070club.groups.io/g/main/chat/7056

It lets us know your there, and helps us move around bands to find you and get you your slot(s).

See you on the bands, everyone!
