FD 2001 Attaboy requirements

N3DQU@...

There has been some questions about the recently announced Field Day
Attaboy, so here is some clarification on the eligibility requirements. As
long as you are personally involved in handing out valid HF PSK31 Field Day
QSO's in accordance with the current ARRL Field Day rules, you are eligible
to receive this endorsement. This means you can operate in any entry class
listed in the Field Day rules that suits your fancy, either solo or with a
group, running any and/or all valid modes on the HF bands. The main thing is
that you are the one behind the keyboard giving out valid Field Day contacts
via PSK31. There is no minimum number of contacts required, but after going
thru all that trouble, you would probably want to at least spend a couple
hours on the air and make it worth your while hi! Hope this answers any
questions and looking forward to sending out a lot of these Attaboys! 73 de
Jay N3DQU.

Jeff Baker <jjbaker@...>

Jay,

I sent in for the wac and Hawaii endorsements but haven't received them yet.  Not trying to rush but was just curious,  I don't remember how long it has been but the turn around on my 070 certificate was real fast.
Thanks for the club and coooool endorsements,
Jeff Baker kg4enr

Hora Amigos!

N3DQU@...

Well, we made it over the 100-mark just the other day and that's pretty
neat, so word is slowly but surely getting out to the pskers out there about
our club. I have been sending email to pskers down in South America but need
some help in the language department. So if there is an 070 Club member who
could help out on a Spanish version of the 070 Club rules, it would be
greatly appreciated. Please send an email direct to N3DQU. Jay.

WM2U Looking for certs

N3DQU@...

Ernie WM2U (of PSK Rumble fame, dontcha know!) has a really nifty website
at < http://www.qsl.net/wm2u > that tells you everything you ever wanted to
know abt the sound card modes, and then some. He also did a really neat write
up on the 070 Club, which you can see if you click on the 070 link abt midway
down his webpage. Ernie sez that he would like to feature more examples of
the 070 certificate in all its glory, so if you have a scanner and have a
desire to show off your accomplishments, scan it in at 600 dpi, 300x229
pixels es send it as a .jpg or .gif over to Ernie at emills@nycap.rr.com.
Tnx in advance. Jay, N3DQU.

Alpha List

N3DQU@...

Oh yeah, also wanted to let you know that I changed the format of the
alpha list. Hopefully it is in a more usable form now. I know of at least one
guy out there who has been complaining about not being able to pick out the
dx stations on the list from day one...jeesh! Jay.
