Still working through it.
Currently have VPSE set as a ‘Splitter’ and Com4 is split to Com8. Port settings on the rig, VPSE and both applications match. Still getting the ‘The parameter is

I think you'll be good once you find an open COM port and get your cat settings figured out. Also, be sure the VSPE COM port settings (baud rate, etc) are the same as your rig and software.. Those

One other thing I might add to this excellent article on setting up a K3(s) is that a test carrier on an even multiple of [frequency} + 500Hz (500, 1000, 1500 etc) will not give an even 4 bars of ALC

I agree. I didn't work any PSK this summer, but did hear a decent number of ten meter CW beacons, some not heard since 2014. Thanks for sharing.
