Don't know if I still do, but for many, many years I held the CQWW record for Oceania, single op, 15 meters, using my old call WB6EWH/VQ9, Tom Dixon, (cannot remember his call), set the record

Milt you really brought back the memories. I also won a few awards for Alabama section back in the 80`s when bands were so much better than now and oh was that fun getting on the air in contest

When I did it , it took about 2200 (?) contacts and it sure looked insurmountable ... like standing at the base of Mt. Everest and looking up ! Just chip away at it... little by little.

It looks like the coax braid is the counterpoise and
really does need the unun or coax choke at the shack.
