Re: Computer logging the PSKFest
I used the logging function of Digipan,(1.6)
Works, but you have to do some light editing to make it presentable..

Computer logging the PSKFest
So who all used a computer to log the PSKFest? Any good/bad experiences to
relate? I used W3KM's Gen Log. First time I had ever used a computer logger,
and except for a glitch that I may have caused

Re: PSKFEST - Getting Ready
Hi Steve,
As Kostas replied on another message the band opens up soon after
noon (local) and starts to close before sundown.
I'm usually available for scheduled QSO on weekends, Sundays

Re: PSKFEST - Getting Ready
Hi Steve, 21 MHz opens at about 1200 UTC and closes
after our local sunset. Recently I had:
15:03 UTC W1SQL
16:23 UTC N3JWJ
18:01 UTC VE3IAY
Signals on 21 MHz are not as strong as on 28 MHz.

Re: PSKFEST - Getting Ready
Demetre -
That would be very kind of you. Since I have never heard a SV on
15m, I do not know when the band might be open from SV to the
US east coast. Do you have any suggestions?

Unfortunately I haven't worked much in the Pacific from here in PA,
but I did work NG1P/KH2 last July while I was QRV in California.
I only heard him that one day, but he is apparently USAF

Re: RTTY Software
I use both MixW and Hamscope for RTTY. Both work like a champ and
are very easy to set up. I also had trouble with MMTTY and gave up.
Hamscope is free and MixW has a reasonable registration
