Yep the analyzer shows the SteppIR is 1:1 on 40
The B'nut vert and the OCF are good with tuner on 40 and 80.
The 135ft vert looks good with tuner on 160
Worked a few JAs es VKs this morning on 40M FT8 and one ZL on 80M
so think things are ok.

There was some discussion here during the contest about if you could work the same call in different days.  Matt said it would be reviewed during the off season.  My 2 cents - I believe we should leave it the way it is:  credit for a call once per band over the three days.  Yes, day 2 and day 3 get progressively harder to find "new ones," but for me that is the challenge.  And it does level the field a bit for those who can only get on one or two days of the 3.

One other note:  I will be glad when the contest group is migrated to groups.io.  I get postings much faster with here....Yahoo sometimes has long delays.  It will make the contest group much more useful!

But I had fun!  Hope you did too!  Merry Christmas to all and hope to work you in PSKFest.

Sorry for using a reply to get through, but nothing is working for me for some reason, even the direct link at the club web site.  My message below even bounced back to me.
Geary, KE5IRK

Hay Matt,
I tried to send a question to the group after the move and just now tried to go into the "group 070" and it told me I was not a subscriber.  Can you tell me which of my now 18 email addresses y'all are using to send to me.  I am guessing it is one of these:  1) ke5irk@... (which I thought we changed a year ago as it will not let me send from there, or 2) gearymcdowell@... which is my primary email I have been looking to get rid of as it is so long.  I also have a couple of gmail accounts, the other option might be ke5irk@...  I doubt I would have used any of the others for anything HAM.
Thanks, 73, Geary McDowell #1787

I agree, that was fun.

As far as changing this contest and/or the Three Day Weekend.... I think we're going to leave well enough alone. It was my idea alone to change it, and I've received enough feedback saying that we shouldn't that I now realize I'd be in the wrong for doing so.

I was trying to balance the "more stations to work" vs "the harder challenge" and I think y'all are right, the challenge wins out.

Merry Christmas to all!
