I said something on the FB FT-8 group and the Ham Radio Operator group and was crickets like it didn't matter, in fact one person tried to argue with me that they didn't see any PSK on the frequency and didn't see an issue with FT-8 being on the 070 frequencies. At the time I posted was a 24 hour PSK contest, and you could see the frequency was deliberately targeted with FT-8 signals on top of PSK signals. When I asked if they thought it was right to just transmit over the top of on going conversations they stated they didn't think there was an issue with it due to the way the digital modes worked. Funny how times change, why bother asking if the frequency is in use then, just talk over everyone and if they complain, turn on the amp that will take care of it. I think personally, complaints will not be heard by the league or anyone else, it will be abused until the frequencies are not usable anymore unless its the most popular mode. Everytime there is a new digital mode, it takes over the existing ones, and people using older modes are going to be told to get with the times or get off the band. I started PSK using my Kenwood TS-520S with a Signalink card. Wasn't the easiest way to work digital, but it did work.
