Re: Gloating

spdomingue@...

Well think I need to look at the operation here ast year got twice the qso's and spent not even half of the time on the air I did this year but I did have help being worth 100 points on each band did help here just wish I could have given away a few thousand more points whould have been nice to get the LONP for working the contest that was the goal, I don't even think I got the ones I needed to finish with what I already had.

Now that said I did have fun and enjoyed the QSO's and looking forward to next year. This year I almost even worked all the bonus stations, Well I never did see the signals from N6YIH/7. Thanks for all the points I recived I hope I am not on the bottom of the Bonus Station Group.

73's till the next one

Bob <VE4XA@...>

Hi Bernie;

Why not. The bands were lousy..BUT the QSO's were great and I worked
several new countries. Finally worked Erika!!

Tnx for the bonus points to all. Really needed them HI HI.

For all qso's with XM4XA the special prefix QSL card is waiting for you at
WWW.EQSL.CC
And remember you don't need to "belong" to it to pick up your card.

A fun weekend.

Re: Gloating in Alabama????

ebruchac@...

Bernie,Bernie,Bernie......
"Ain't anybody gonna gloat?"
Are you sure you aren't transplanted from down here?
Excuse me....."Ain't you from round here?"

The band conditions, at least down here in Alabama, were dismal.Never saw any 070 ers on 80M/10M/6M.
I worked qrp,3-5W,with the FT 817 and portable MP-1,mostly out on the patio---good test for Field Day.Did make a few off-shore contacts with PY2MJ,OK1VSL,OK1AZK,and DL2AYL,which supprised me,considering my setup.
Family activities precluded spending as much time as I would have liked on the TDW,but had a ball working the other members.
   Would you settle for bloated?

OK now I know I can at least "transmit" into the group here . . . a
long couple of days trying to get around my "alias" with Yahoo . . . oh
well . . .

Now for my .02 . . .

Not lookin' for sympathy but I work through weekends . . . leaving me
the time before and after work . . . so Thank-you KH7B for "hanging in"
until I managed to get on 0730z this morning! (on 20 meters of course) .
. . and my "main staple" Ten meters has been very dismal! . . . I
haven't counted my Q's yet but have a fair number . . . more success
from this QTH with the ground mounted vertical . . . and I did make ONE
contact on 40! (not a 070 member) that was around 7.080 . . .

73,

John K3NJ

and a warbling we go . . .
