I know most of the 160m contacts I've made have been on 1.807, with only a couple on 1.838. I reckon they're split up some kinda like 40m.

Can you check the data and see the distribution of contacts on those two bands for grins?

Fred,

Rick nailed it. Those are the frequencies.

The only real variable is the “40m high” or “40m low”.

From the West Coast, you’ll find a lot of JA’s and Asia on 7.035, and the US on 7.070.
