Re: WTW
Which is why the old DX admonition of "Work 'First, Worry Later" still holds true; often abbreviated "WFWL".

Re: WTW
Well, ITU just assigns prefixes to countries and it is up to local telecom administrations how to structure the rest of the callsign. Some, I guess became less traditional recently, as time from time

At any rate, they don't really have

Re: WTW
Great question, Barry,
I worked TE1856 last week.
I think we should be able use them as Wild Cards!

WTW
Just worked a station that made me wonder how he fits in work the world.
His name is Dean and his call is CD5846. Not sure if I get credit for the Charlie or the Delta or if this is a wild card I can

Re: What the ???
Hadn't crossed my mind at the time. However, with the comments made it is quite possible he is handicapped. I have a friend who is blind and is talking about PSK31 and he used voice recognition

Re: What the ???
He possibly could have some kind of handicap forcing him to operate how he does. Macular degeneration and not wanting to be locked into macros would come to my mind. Reminds me of a local RC plane

Carl,
Please consider this an invitation to re-join the "operating events" of the 070 Club.
There are many things that are gained by participating.
Your LONP count jumps, you qualify for more

Thank you, Milt. It has been my experience that many members of the group want to control or dictate how we operate our stations. It has turned me off and has limited my involvement with this

Don't think I was nitpicking so much as the station in question. He would have been far better off calling something other than "no macros". If he wanted to ragchew, he should have said so. This
