If you have a KX2 or KX3, PSK31 is built into the radio. All you need is paddles to use the internal keyer to generate the PSK signal. You read the received message on the LCD display. It’sa bit

I would be interested to see what others are using for PSK. Specifically the computer. I also like doing POTA and PSK, but my old laptop (i3 Lenovo) is heavy and will only last about 30 minutes before

I've done 4 POTAs this year, 3 PSK31 and one CW. It's definitely an addicting, fun activity. Even if you prefer to stay in the shack, you can access the POTA spotting site (pota.us) and

Milt,
Yeah, I got the SOTA bug bad last year and have hiked up 56 mountains since August 2020. I've yet to find a way to make an ultralightweight digital station. My pack currently

P.O.T.A. - S.O.T.A. - B.O.T.A. ?
I see that a lot of the 070 members are also active in POTA, SOTA & BOTA.
When you activate a park, summit or beach, do you ever use psk31?
I've joined each group, as we've got an abundance of each

Re: 20M
Switching modes on just one band make this a great event. There were more signals on the water fall than I could ever hope to QSO. Nice to see.

You can INCLUDE any dupes in the log you submit, but the checker will give you zero points for any that are in your operating period. That means they don't count.
For this contest, "dupe"

Hmmmm ... didn't see anything in rules for this contest about dupes. If we were allowed dupes than that makes this test too complicated... I may have missed something when I read rules, but I doubt

Re: 20M

You can have dupes any time you want. But:
- only six hours worth of operating will be counted for your score
- dupes during that period will be worth 0 (zero) QSO points
The scorer will ignore

Re: 20M
If I'm going to call "CQ Contest" on a band that looks dead...let it be 20m!
OA4DOS @ 01:31
CO6GU @ 03:18
JM7OLW @ 03:52
If I'm understanding this correctly, I can have "Dupes" during the entire time
