Bad Signal
Jerry,
I understand you're position, however I hope you, and all PODXS members,
if I have a signal 3 acres wide, you would
let me know either 'on the air' or by shooting me an e-mail.

Mike:
Used to do that as an OO, but the results were everything from indifference to threats. I gave up on emailing people. Caught one ham I knew personally splattering all over … 50 kHz.

Jerry,
You could always try looking up call signs for the offenders in QRZ.com and sending them a private, polite e-mail to advise them of the problem. I know I appreciate it if someone tells me my

Re: Fooling with alpha list ...
Yup, it’s always fun getting to know someone better than just the normal QSO data ! I’m mostly a ragchewer, but I respect those who aren’t and usually just barely make a contact… many don’t

Having more than one QSO with someone, especially an actual rag chew, is kind of the point, isn’t it?
It’s nice when you get to catch up with someone you’ve talked to before. :-)

A lot of those are probably contest Q’s. Know I have lots and lots of Q’s with certain stations every time I enter their call in ACLog. There is usually a page full of Q’s which is a good

Wide signals today
Several wide signals with sidebands almost 100 Hz either side of primary frequency. I check this by turning off AGC and inserting attenuation.
Either people have processors turned on, too much

John-
How are you orienting the Hamstick Dipole? N-S, E-W, somewhere in between? I still haven't seen you. I'm almost due east of you.

DaVE:
If you try for FN65 in Maine, it seems the towns of Danforth, Princeton, and Alexander might be close to where you’re at now. If it doesn’t fit you schedule, that’s ok.

Been trying to figure out who I’ve worked over the past 11 years; so, did some folling around with th generic alpha list of callsigns. I took a few hours, but I now have various calls and members
