Yes, more is better. I also strongly am in favor of ‘include-all-callers’ contests.

I echo Chris' comments. I had a long QSO with a local ham (N3SC) just getting active again and anxious to join the 070. I had to apologize that the big St. Paddy contest was members only and she would

Matt, Over here it can be very lonely trying to take part in a closed test. I have experience of that test and I have had people trying to join in and, “give me some points”. To then say thanks

Re: It pays to double check Eqsl
If station sends his call a few times, you can usually piece it all together ?

Re: It pays to double check Eqsl
Ahh, but the point is “valid call sign exchange”
Without a proper verification that you got the call correctly, it isn’t worth the radio waves it travelled on.

Re: It pays to double check Eqsl
Any QSO with a valid call sign exchange (signal report doesn't count for much since everyone sends 599) is good enough. Everything else is frosting on the cake.

I get a lot of those from FT8 ops that get one or two fragments of the exchange and think its a 'good contact'.

My wife went to Ireland a few years ago and stayed in a castle. Now she thinks she's a princess. Does that qualify me?

I can recreate cards if you have one that is filled out...I use GIMP to scrub out any written data on the card and create a blank one..Then I can make a template with 4 up on a sheet that you can
