Couldn't locate N4NUI's email so I posted it here.   ARRL  lists him as being i NA-006 on LoTW.  Guess even LoTW makes errors, but not as much a QRZ does.

Re: Solar panels and radio

Bob,
Dx Engineering has a spot on their website called "Ask a question" technical questions.  Submit a question and if they don't sell anything to help you they usually point you in a direction to get answers.  I've used this several times and they were pretty quick to give me an answer.

Yes, guess I was in a FD daze when I did these.   BTW, had a storm come through, broke off my flagpole, and one of the 80" rods on the counterpoise assembly of my GAP.

I did use the GAP some during FD, but, only on 20 and 40.

Solar panels and radio

Bob Motyl KK6KMU

I'm in process looking at having electrical solar panels installed at my QTH.  My research has revealed that solar panels create RFI in the armature band.  It appears that it up to the owner to mitigate the noise.  I see Palomar Engineering has some mitigation products but wanted to see if anyone operates with solar on their QTH,  I am looking at solar panels with micro inverters if that helps.  All comments are welcomed.

Re: 070 Field Day Stickers

Need to amend this, the stickers will not be in the next mailing.   Cutoff date for the next mailing is 30 June.

Stickers will be made in the mailing with cutoff of 31 Dec, sometime in January.

There seems to be some confusion over how to submit for the 070 Field Day Stickers.  First, 070 is separate from your ARRL upload.  Second, simply uploading your log to the 070 Progress Checker is insufficient.  From Stan's (our PR Director) earlier post, here's how to report you participation for the 070 Stickers.

Since our Awards Progress Checker has no means to check your log for Field Day participation, in order to receive your Endorsement Sticker it will be necessary for you to send an email directly to me robinstan (at) Hotmail (dot) com by Sunday, July 11.
Please use 2021 Field Day in the subject line.  Send me the email even if you have already uploaded your FD log and posted on the Reflector that you participated!

The body of your email needs only your Call and Member number.  Please DO NOT send or attach your log.  This is on the Honor System.  If you say you participated, you participated! - even if you were in a support role (setup/tear-down, KP duty, etc. and never actual got on air.)  I will forward the complete list to those that take care of Stickers and your Sticker will be included in our next mailing!

In hot pursuit and needing June 29 and 30 are Geary, KE5IRK, Alan, KA5VZG and Bob, KK6KMU.

LOOK FOR THEM!!

Thanks for that Lee. I struggled to get my results into an acceptable form for ARRL, and that suggestion did in fact make it foolproof.

And I was able to work a few members, so thanks to all! My condx, like Jerry said, were such that I made some initial contacts but then lost them to the QSB, so didn't get 'em all.
