Thanks Rick, good work.

I am starting to feel like a postman...neither rain, nor sleet, nor hail, nor ice, nor 8 inches of snow will keep me from my duties for 070 club.

New Menu Item

Jim K5SP

The Menu Item "Alpha List" is no longer available.  That list was not being updated, and frankly I could not find anyone that found that list useful.

So, that Menu Item has been changed to "Member List", as a temporary means to allow you to try to locate a member and their respective number.

This list is created from a Google Doc spreadsheet, and in my browser is searchable.  I use Firefox, and to find a specific call, you can click edit->Find in this page to do a search.  A small text box opens at the bottom of your browser window where you can enter your search term, either the number or the call, and it will find it.   You can also use CTRL+F to bring up the seach box.  Unfortunately, I dont use any other browser, so cannot tell you how to do a search in them (EDGE, Safara, Chrome, etc).

We have made this to assist you in finding members/numbers.

Russian PSK contest

I don’t have any PSK QSOs with Russian, but this weekend’s contest may provided an opportunity to try.

Hi Barry,

Nice to hear from you.  I generally will be on around 14.072 when on psk31.  We are leaving on Friday and will be spending the night in Laurel, MS.  Heading for St Catherines Creek NWR to activate it for POTA on Saturday for a couple of hours.  Then on to Natchez.

John, the "Member Files" link on the menu will get you the latest member data in .csv form.

You can open that file with any spreadsheet application.

Thanks for all of your hard work.  I've sent my report to Milt but how do we proceed in the future with new contacts?  Since the Alpha list is broken is there another place where we can find the members after 2786?  Maybe you can put a list in the files section

John,

I've made some recent (like yesterday, recent) progress in accessing the club
data with a script. We should be able to get a current list presented on the
site soon (first step toward getting LONP fixed).

fine from here.
My money says the page just needed to be refreshed (Ctrl+R, F3, whatever in
your browser). It doesn't automatically refresh when we make changes. If you
had it open in a tab since before the contest, it would still have the old
link.

Try the link on the home page, and I will check to see why the link on the rules page is not working.

Instructions LONP Credit for >2786

Jim K5SP

Attached you will find instructions for obtaining LONP credit for members with numbers >2786, along with a sample log file.

If you submit log entries for credit and do NOT follow these instructions, then your submission will be deleted.  The reason for these specific instructions is because every submission requires manual intervention and checking, which is a time consuming task.

We will process these as soon as possible after receipt.

Thanks to all for compliance.

Valentines Sprint - Get your YL credit

David, K9DWR

I've been spot-checking some of the entries as they are coming in, and I'm
noticing several logs that don't have the OM or YL listed anywhere. The OM
doesn't really matter, but the YL does. YL QSOs count for 2 points, so when
you upload, make sure you have exported the YL somewhere.

As I mentioned last week, as long as its in any of these ADIF fields, it should
get picked up:

'app_n1mm_misctext'
'srx_string'
'srx'
'comment'
'notes'
'name'
'other'
'award' (don't ask)

If you don't have the YL info, and want credit for them, just make a new ADIF
file and re-upload. The system will replace the old entry with the new entry.

Re: 160 For the Valentine Sprint

Trying to find a signal in the QRN was like trying to find the road in a blizzard.  Did get Stan, Mary and Darin.  Saw a few more but they probably couldn't see me.  The storm off shore had the strongest signal.
