not seeing you on the waterfall, turned on my pre-amp and only got more noise. i am putting out somewhere in the 15 to 20 watts on my little rig according to my separate power meter. the radio gods do not appear to be smiling on 30M currently. will try till around 1930 hoping for a contact, then drop off if no one is seen. Re: YET ANOTHER CORRECTION - to 24/7 Endorsement standing.- ADDENDUM!
Well, maybe eventually I'll get it right.
6. Clicking on the "Have" "Total" "Target" number shows you ALL your remaining unfilled day/time slots. The list that displays can be copied and pasted into Word, Excel, or another program of your choosing. -- Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602

Re: CORRECTION to 24/7 Endorsement standing.- ADDENDUM!
The Addendum to the First Method should read:
6. Clicking on the "Have" "Total" number shows you ALL your remaining unfilled day/time slots. The list that displays can be copied and pasted into Word, Excel, or another program of your choosing.
Apologies for the error.

Re: Finding your 24/7 Endorsement standing.- ADDENDUM!
Stan - W9SMR added a very neat trick to the First Method that greatly increases its utility. Here's the Addendum:
6. Clicking on the "Have" number shows you ALL your remaining unfilled day/time slots. The list that displays can be copied and pasted into Word, Excel, or another program of your choosing.
Thanks Stan for this very useful improvement to the First Method! -- Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602

Can we stop throwing rocks at the very folks that are keeping us afloat?
Yes, there's some opportunities to be had with our Awards Checker.
We all know that.

Thanks Rick and I too am very grateful that they have taken on this massive project. I just wish I could in some small way help out, however, I probably know just enough to be dangerous and I’m sure they don’t want that.

Re: Endorsement Award Checker
Dan-
I'm continuing to upload. As far as I can tell, the upload functions fine. It is down in the "guts" of moving stuff around and automatically linking stuff for administration that seems to be the problem. I know Jerry - N9AVY is manually tracking new earned endorsements. And Loren - WA3WZR is doing the same for IOTAs. I may be wrong, and if so hopefully David or one of the other guys will jump in and correct me, but I see no reason to not upload. And I think, but am not sure, that the hope is they may be able to salvage all the uploads out of the old Endorsement Checker and transfer them to the new checker when it is ready. I don't claim to understand everything they are battling, but I sure know it is a massive, massive project! We all owe them a big THANK YOU for just getting the Contest Scoring working. Without their efforts 070 Club would have died around the end of 2019. -- Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602

Re: Endorsement Award Checker
This is what the checker spit out this morning. Unfortunately this is the 2rd or 43th time in as many weeks. Duh ! The checker has dementia ! K4VBM has already been credited these endorsements. This is not the only one because there are a few others who who have gone into "reruns". This checker is undoubtedly on its last legs. " Endorsements have been submitted: K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID [100] K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID [50] K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID-CT K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID-DE K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID-MA K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID-MD K4VBM 2020-10-16 ALL-GRID-RI" Jerry n9avy

We don’t have a replacement for the awards checker yet. The old one should still take uploads (although we can’t guarantee the results).

Well, I have not uploaded my log in quite some time. So, do we still use the old awards checker to upload our adif logs that has Westbrook or is there a new uploader site to use now? Thanks

Re: Finding your 24/7 Endorsement standing.
I had forgotten about the progress checker. I printed it out this morning and am cross checking with my own matrix. Thanks for continuing with the new endorsement checker.

Re: Finding your 24/7 Endorsement standing.
Actually, there are a couple of different ways to check your 24/7 progress. The first method works for anyone regardless of how many hourly slots they have filled. The second method only works for those that have achieved the first Award Level - 72 time slots filled.

I made a spreadsheet of the hours I've already worked and can see which ones I need now easier. A simple 24 X7 grid works well. I have one for my 366 also and see I have 6 months completed. One date (12th) needed in Nov and Dec 18, 27,28, and 29 to get me done until the end of the year. Lots of Jan dates which I usually miss due to travel.
