Re: Stickers

Got my Stickers today. My delay obviously due to bouncing off the Snowbird address in FL. I would consider putting all the stickers on the sheets to mount on the wall, but my shack in the guest bedroom closet is so small I would not be able to get into the shack if I did.

Special note of appreciation to Bob, KK6KMU, and Jeff, W3WMU, for tackling that job. THANK YOU!!

Thank you Jeff for the cute smiley face on the back of the envelope! Bob, KC9UR and I will be looking for your 8th year repeat performance as APE Hunter for working our APE on 3 or more bands! See you August 21 to 23 from Trine State Recreation Area.

Many of you have already received your envelopes with the stickers in them.

We mailed out over 150 large envelopes with certificates all over the world.  Only one of them has returned, and that is because I blew W7OXB address.

We mailed close to 250 envelopes with stickers in them, and to date, three have been returned as bad addresses.  I need to confirm the correct mailing address with the following to ensure our records are correct.

N8FL - our data has your address as RT1 Box 130a1 in Glenwood WV.  It was returned to sender.

N3UYI - our data has your address as 247 Sweet Gum Drive, Chelsea AL

WB8YXF - We have you as 3311 Galberry Rd. Chesapeake VA, it was forwarded to 233 Jessamine Pl MCGayheysville VA and returned.

Please help us update our records to show the corrrect address.  In a couple of cases, QRZ does not even match.

Thanks in advance,

Congrats Jerry.  I've been stuck needing one confirmed LOTW QSO from Hawaii on 80 meters for a very long time to get my 5 band WAS award.  It will come some day, but it sure would be nice if it was sooner rather than later.

Wow !   Looks like I picked up about 500 new confirmations on LoTW today.    Noteworthy was the 80 WAS was completed for 5 band WAS.
Also, got about 5 more for Challenge and around 1451  distinct prefixes worked.

Guess I need to submit to LoTW more than every 6 months.  It was fun going through it all.  Maybe some more matches coming in next few days or months.

Need to get ACLog working with LoTW so I can upload more often. This has been dead for about a year.

Hope everyone got QSLs via  LOTW from me. Saw bunches of 070 contest calls.

After messing around with LoTW for a few weeks, I finally got it working again, BUT not sure what I did. My last upload was on 21 Jan 2020. This now brings me curent to 5 July 2020. Used to upload from ACLog (N3FJP) but that stopped work as well.

My please for help from ARRL were pretty much ignored (Thanks ARRL !)

Guess my next LoTW upload will be sometime in 2022, hi !

Jerry,

He was 459 to 579 and fairly good cpy all the way till the end.  His grid is listed wrong but did manage to cpy the grid he gave me PM95ur.  I checked it out and it's Tokyo  Surprised to see a JA this early in the morning and it's not Suki.  hi hi  Also saw NP2X St Croix earlier, worked him last night.  One can hope condx are starting to pick up.

Welcome Jay!   By my count you are only the 6th member from the state of North Dakota.  That is going to make you very popular each and every time you are on air!  My log shows we have worked twice before, but will be looking for you to add to my LONP count.  Also in every 070 Contest as ND is a rare multiplier!  73, and again, Welcome!  Hope you enjoy 070 Club as much as I do.

Welcome indeed, Jay!

That process was too gruesome!

Hopefully with the efforts of K5SP and K9DWR the new member process has been vastly improved. I hope your experience with our fabulous group gets better every day!!

Looking forward to working you again, this time as a member. I need the LONP!

Re: Bay Area

Bob Motyl KK6KMU

Byron,

I live in Oceanside CA.  In my log I have KM6CPF , David, lives in El Granada, San Mateo county.  Memeber No. 2609

Also I have a few contacts in my log  that have participated in the clubs contests that are from ARRL section EB.  KB6LFM, Bill, AB6MB Jeff,  and AA6EH , Adam.  They are not members but they might be interested.  I don't see any from the SF section in my log.  I hope that gives you a starting point.

Been to the "SF" Bay area, got to be careful not to confuse anyone, a number of times.  In-laws live in Berkeley CA.

Good Luck,

Bob KK6KMU
