Many thanks for membership package and stickers. One more thing for my wife to laugh about, but as I get older (now 71) there may be a time when I look back on all my papers buried in a box in the closet with fondness. Any stickers you happen to send me will keep your stuff at the top of the pile.

Many of you have already received your envelopes with the stickers in them. We mailed out over 150 large envelopes with certificates all over the world. Only one of them has returned, and that is because I blew W7OXB address. We mailed close to 250 envelopes with stickers in them, and to date, three have been returned as bad addresses. I need to confirm the correct mailing address with the following to ensure our records are correct. N8FL - our data has your address as RT1 Box 130a1 in Glenwood WV. It was returned to sender. N3UYI - our data has your address as 247 Sweet Gum Drive, Chelsea AL WB8YXF - We have you as 3311 Galberry Rd. Chesapeake VA, it was forwarded to 233 Jessamine Pl MCGayheysville VA and returned. Please help us update our records to show the corrrect address. In a couple of cases, QRZ does not even match. Thanks in advance, 73 Jim K5SP

Re: [Fw:] Cycle 25 Optimism
Milt: Great memories of past cycles ! Wish they were still with us. Worked JY5ZM, Zuheir, back in 1980 on q20m plus about 8 others over the years. Was in pile up for Hussein , JY1, but never got through. Thanks, Jerry n9avy

We also need a good sunspot cycle for the benefit of new hams who will forever think that hitting 2 meter repeaters using a shack on the belt is the only game in town.

Re: [Fw:] Cycle 25 Optimism
John: Bummer on divorce ! Same here but didn't lose any QSLs. If i thought they were in danger would have put them in bank safety deposit box. Ex moved out and filed for divorce. Was a bit lost without her, but then bank account increased over time and I survived. Bummer on losing JY1 (King of Jordan) who died several years ago. Never worked him but did get Capt. of Palace Guard. One JY is almost as good as another... almost. Conditions aren't as good as they were back in 70s and earlier, but there's hope for the future. Lost some of my cards in a divorce also, my prize possession, my JY1 card.
