Witt the help of some of the executive I found it easier to keep one call as primary.

When I upload a log I just merge the old contacts from my /VE3 log to the current adif. Just remember to remove the header from the first adif file.

Item #11 states that members who have more than one distinct callsign can request a separate 070 number if they so choose. If so, item 11 states "Note that in this case you must keep your contacts separate between your two calls - you can't combine them for endorsement purposes." Note that members are not REQUIRED to request a separate 070 number for an alternate callsign, but they can CHOOSE to.

So the answer to "amalgamate or not" depends on whether the alternate call has a different 070 number.

Karl, thanks a million for pointing me to the Admin tab, had never looked at it.   Using it, I discovered that the original licensee for W1HKJ was in fact David H Freese, Jr.  and the only changes other than renewals was a change of address. So we can scratch W1HKJ from the expired roll, and enter the change of address in our data file.

Again, you were a great help.

I am not an expert on all matters FCC, but I recognize a software bug when I see one, and the effective/grant date sure looks like one :)

That was my thoughts, but effective date of license in ULS for Jr. is not old enough to be that.

Re: Win 7 -> Win 10 Free Upgrade

Dan Morris - KZ3T

Also as a side note.  If you start getting that nag about your Win10 needing to be authorized, etc you can use your Win7 key and it should work just fine.  that is what I did and I get all my updates and do not get that nagging screen every once in a while.

I’ve done four machines so far and all are operating well. The best upgrade path I’ve used is as follows:

1. Do a fresh install of Windows 7 SP1. Use a 64-bit version if your hardware will support it.
2. Do all Widows updates.
3. Install your office software. I prefer MS Office 2010.
4. Do all updates for the above.
5. Install the Widows 10 upgrade.
6. Install your printer.
7. Install everything else.

Don't expect everyone to agree with me. Just sharing my experience. Good luck! 👍🏻😁
