Thanks for the contact on 15 Chris.  It was rough, had good copy on 21071.00 but when I answered you disappeared. Went up a little called CQ and pulled you out there.

Too much noise here, think power lines are causing it. Reported some time back, showed power company tech that I had the noise when antenna connected, no noise when disconnected which ruled out anything in house.  He agreed there was a problem and would get engineering on it.  That was a year ago, and it still persists.

Tom have been looking for you but nothing seen.  Have Scotty in the log on a couple of bands.
As forr 15, have been calling for quite some time, no traces at all, nothing but noise here in North Texas.

Left Coast 15M

K8TOM

I have often wondered why, when a higher band like 15M is open on the East Coast, nothing is happening on the left coast, as is the case now.

Is it a lack of prop or a lack of left coast ops trying?  Either or both, I guess.  The strong prop pattern from my QTH is SE to AZ/NM.  But not today, so far.

At least I can see my neighbor Scotty W7PSK on 20!

GL to all,

Tom

Have not seen you Bill ... Band is crappy up here for ME ..
I have a 3 element SteppIR on a 9ft Roof Tower on a single story house.

its a compromise between my 50ft I want and the None my wife wants.

20 just wont open up here in the NW Corner of the US.

I’ve seen a very weak W7PSK on occasion and called but no contact.  From eastern NC, I’m only getting stations in the eastern US and Canada.  Great prop to Florida..  Have not seen any EU or SA stations at all on 20..the band is about as bad as it can get..

73,

Bill

The band in OK seems to be in and out some, might be wet.  LOL
I had medical stuff done/going on yesterday and could not see the screen then this morning I checked to see if anyone was on, I realized/remembered it is TDW.  My first two contacts were bonus stations, a great way to start out.  I kept seeing Barry, VA7GEM, finally was making contact, sent RSTs and I had a computer blue screen crash.  HI HI  We are good now.  HI HI

Having fun again on HF, and the best mode PSK.
