Super interesting.

Here’s my story: spotted E6ET on FT8 on 17m.  Signal was surprisingly good here in CN97bq.  It looked to me like pretty much everyone on 17m was calling him.   Quite a few were shouting quite loudly.

I figured “What the heck, give it a whirl", responded to his CQ, and got him very first try.  Afterwards I realized I’d only been running about 20w into my poor old OCFD at 10m agl.

17m has been very kind to me lately.  It sure would be nice to have the PSK world arrive at some consensus on what frequency to use on 17m now that 17m propagation gods are smiling and 18.100 is overrun with FT8.

This is not April Fool's Joke

On Apr 01 I chased E6AF for 30min on 20M FT8 using Steppir 3L approx 0100Z
Getting really frustrated I switched antennas to my HF2V (yes this is 80/40 vert) and second call
got him.

Don't let anyone tell you that the B'nut is old tech.

Barry, did you just quit calling? I don’t see you, but just worked Lee, K7IOC on Camano Island at about the same frequency. I’ll watch for you for a bit.

Just had email from Dick - now in EL49.  I never picked up a trace on him from EL59 down here in central Florida.  Hoping to maybe get him in another grid on down the road.  Did anyone get a confirmed Q while he was in EL59?  If so, curious as to your QTH and frequency you guys worked on.

Just worked him on 20-meters

Just entering LA.  Should be in grid around 1600.  Will start on 20 but will try 40 when we stop.

Been monitoring 20m for about 20 minutes now.  Not seeing you Dick.  Seeing a couple of Germany lower in the band and some of the 070 bunch - looking for you I'll bet.  Maybe conditions will improve.  Let's hope!

Dan, i really enjoyed our QSO today. Hope to do more here on 30M. My antenna system is just a 3 band fan dipole for 80, 40, and 20, but loads well here on 30M. I guess it's working off of the 80M dipole. (??). When my yard gets dry enough, I think that I will hang another dipole cut for 30M.

See you guys!
