Thanks for the note, Karl.  You're probably trying to use the httpS (secure) version of the site. The http version works, though your browser may give a warning.

There are some dorked up DNS records in regards to that one right now. I'm trying to sort it out, but really have no idea when I'll get it sorted out as it's pretty convoluted.

Thanks again for letting me know about it.

Historical APE Updates: Action Needed

W7RIV

Everyone, I just wanted to take a moment and reach out. We have been working hard to get the emails sifted through, and the site updated to post the past information that was submitted.

I created a spreadsheet so you reference. There is quite a bit to be updated on the web page, but I wanted to create an outline and get your input.

I'm trying to update from 2015 through 2018, and then start posting information for 2019 APEs. I would really like to see a lot of APEs this year. I know I was not able to do it last year, but I plan on doing it this year for sure. Please do the same.

Please update this spreadsheet with necessary information. If it is incorrect, missing, or you can add some information please do so with this link. ( link ) Please Update Me!

If you have a log, or a Tall Tale with pictures (or no pictures) send it again and lets make sure we get your activity updated. You can email me at ape@...

If you have any complaints or grumbles please let me know as well. I know it may be a pain to send over the information again, but that is all we can do at this point and try harder moving forward.

Thanks,
Bryon, W7RIV
APE Coordinator

Band is very poor tonite. First time I saw you , your trace was bright. Saw you working the TG a few minutes later and you trace was barely visible. Then never saw you again. It's another TV night for me.

No problem, Matt. I had planned on posting to the group as I hit different grids.  I will post the grids I plan on being in the night before and give updates from the road.  I have not had any problems so far with cell coverage to post e-mails.  That seems to be more of a problem in the West.

Better yet how about utilizing the "Chats" area of 070club@groups.io. Windows users could open a virtual window and access the "Chats" area on it. Easy to move back and forth between the logging program and "Chats".

Just a thought..................

Re: KC3EF March Trip which is now April

Hey, Dick - while I sure don't have anything against you texting people as you enter their requested grids, I would appreciate it (if you don't mind) if you could post it to the group here as well.

There are several people (myself included) who are not sending you specific grids to watch for, but will jump on the bands if/when we see you entering various places.

The groups.io group is MUCH better about sending out a timely message as compared to the old yahoo group, so it should reach people in time to be useful.

Just a request - good luck on the trip!
