I worked KI7OW/G the other day.
Any idea what the /G means?

Barry -

I wonder if you copied the callsign incorrectly, perhaps due to QRN. There's no KI7OW in the FCC database.

A mangled bit or two could have resulted in an invalid callsign.

Sorry everyone, due to a bridge closing we did not get thru CN76.  We are in Seattle for the next few days and then will hit the road on the way back to FL on Tuesday.  I will post girds we are traveling thru.

Hi Paula
I agree with John. I bought the 7300 a while ago for a 1000 bucks new. Unbelievable audio which is better than my 7410.
My hearing ain’t the best but the 7300 has made all the difference for me.
I only use it for SSB.
If the budget allows keep the 940 and get a 7300.
I get great reports on audio quality with the stock mic.

That is what I love about this club. I have made some good friends here and would love to get a few eyeball QSO’s someday.

If any of you have an IC-7610 would you contact me? I’d love to get your opinion on that rig. I’m thinking of upgrading from my trusty IC-7000 for the shack. I can then put the 7000 in my car.

Oh, and I sold my Hexbeam to a new YL ham in our club. She is thrilled!

Barry-

Absolutely!  It is there in 6.4.xxx.  That was what I was remembering...when I wasn't remembering! (Getting old is a bummer!!!)  And it looks like the sound card calibration thing may have done it for Jerry with MixW.

One of the best things about 070 Club is "I get by with a little help from my friends."  Thank you!

I was remembering incorrectly.  I opened DM780 and what I was remembering is a function in setup to "calibrate the sound card."  If MixW has a similar provision, you might try that.

This should work in V5.0 - not sure about the pay to ride version.

Re: Murphy strikes again !

Think I’ve got it fixed. Seems that changing the sample rate was all it took.  Just worked K7UDG in WA and in spite of noise level at S-9 + and some QRM , we had a QSO.  Hope to see you on 20m tomorrow’

Thanks Rick !
