I think that's what it defaults to if someone doesn't do a geo-lookup. Sure doesn't make it right, but I guess QRZ.com can only display the data that's put into it. 73 Matt King AK4MK - 070 #1708 PODXS 070 Club Executive Director

But why ??? Think it might be an error either deliberate or a glitch. Just something to do while waiting for propagation to pick up... Jerry n9avy

We're technically not even at the bottom of the solar cycle yet from what I understand. That's the absolute bottom "point" on the curve, I'm saying. We may well be at the same "bottom" that we've been at for a year and will be for another couple years, but it's not an upswing yet from what I've read, anyhow. Signal was continous but the time it locked on a freq. varied substantially. The amount of change in freq. between locks varied too. Finally disappeared about 14.071.800. Then reappeared back near 14.070.300 and did it again. Never seen that before! Anyone have any idea what it might have been? -- Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602 -- Jim, K5SP #483 Member Services Director

Re: Interesting morning on 40m
Probably some kind of "birdie" from a Part 15 device. I see them occasionally on 20m , but mostly on 15 & 10 when I check these bands. Jerry n9avy
