HI HI Joe, I was teaching BESP II then I shortly after that. Fort Sill has had a lot of changes, closed post now is the biggest. Lawton has changed a lot too, not necessarily for the better. You would think where I am would be perfect. When my shack is working it does well, but that not very often the case. There is an interference we have been able to figure out, but when it is good it is really good. HI HI Kind of like the stock market. 73, Geary, KE5IRK

Seems like you are located in a great spot especially for PODXS contests. I remember Lawton/Ft Sill. I was stationed there in 1975 for AIT. I bet it hasn't changed. Hope 2 C U OTA! 73 Joe KA1PPV #1482

PSK Pile Up
Steve VA3FLF/KM4FLF
I had two stations answering my CQ a few minutes ago. I think that qualifies for a current band conditions pile up!!

Re: Lots of Europe this morning
Geary: Think what you're seeing is the seasonal ups & downs of propagation. Propagation on the bands can change with the seasons. Believe there was a major disturbance on the sun over the weekend which caused problems. We're either on the way up or still on the way down with Sunspot Cycle... all we can do is wait and see. There have been some days when I'd swear my antenna wasn't connected. Your vertical is a good indication of propagation, but the Alpha-Delta is still a vertical because of ends being so low and verticals are more susceptible to noise. Have same problem with my A-D 35 ft on tower in middle and 10 ft on the ends. BTW, I have a daughter at home with me who works a job. There were 2 Granddaughters up until a year and a half ago, now down to 9 yr old. Older Granddaughter got married and lives across country. 73, Jerry n9avy
