Sorry Rick - I turned the radio off!! hihi — I’m now band hopping.  On 10M hoping to hear something since there is a very strong Peru station on 15M  but so far nothing on 10.  will probably go back to 40 and see what’s going on.

Lets not go to something being Easier/Harder, I went there once wilh LONP and was slapped down quickly.  All I said was that when those of us early LONP numbers got ours, it was harder than it is today.  Only about 500 members when I got my 100, now there are 2600 members so getting 100 not as difficult.  (shutting mouth now before I get slapped down again)

You are so right on some are unattainable for various reasons!  Here's some of my "don't even think about it" - at least until the solar cycle turns up and prop improves.
China Clipper - I need Taiwan & Philippines
Wrk'd all OZ - I need ACT (Austrailian Capital Territory)
Golf - Hole #13
Above 60 - I need Nunavet, NW Territories, and Greenland
Just not going to happen for me in the near term.
But don't give up!  All things, including A, E, I, O, and sometimes N, eventually come along.

If anyone needs me on WTW  for an "A" please let me know.  REMEMBER:  I have club station K9ATI, but you have to ask if you need it.

My 160m sloper hasn't worked since I put it back up a couple years ago.  Been trouble shooting it when I have time, but problems must be atop tower and I can't climb any longer. If I get it working I will let everyone know.

Re: Soapbox

Decided to try something different this time.  Cranked the power setting down to 5w, hooked up the wattmeter to make sure was really only 5w,  and was pleasantly surprised at the contacts I could make.  Mostly had to work search and pounce and time my responses to CQs.  Only picked up a few by calling CQ.  Thanks to all those who hung in there and worked me.  Saw lots of AGN AGN PLS, but only a few SORRY NO COPY.  But I didn't even respond to calls from Milt in CA, Barry in BC, or Wes in UT.  Saw them, but knew 5w wouldn't do it.  There were some I could work on 40 but not 80 and vice versa - interesting!

All in all a fun contest. Learned some new things.  I may go QRP again.

Thanks all.  I used "log checker" and added a state column.  I was able to copy the section column into state and that worked just fine.

Rick,
I had a similar problem. I solved it by going back to my log and adding OM or YL and the other Op's name in the "comments" field. Then I re-uploaded the corrected log to checker. Wa la, problem gone.

Can someone help me correct my Valentine's Day Sprint log entry?  I'm a first time nubi at it and I ended up with a score of 0 with 11 contacts....  I really have given it my best shot and need a little help.

I'd be glad to put my cell phone out to anyone who can spend a couple minutes to help me.

Rick :

Looks like you didn't have any multipliers and that could be he problem.  Each different state/province/DX country is a multiplier.  You can only use same multiplier once per band.

Go back and edit you log . Put the exchange in the the right place - I use N3FJPs software and I would put "n9avy IL OM" in SRX column.  If you have that it should wok.

Good luck !
