Will be out there on 40 & 20 in about half an hour. Need to dig a path to the shack now -9F here and fairly high wind. Hope to see you. John KE4JB

Wishful thinking I believe. We got at least a foot and half on ground and my waterfall is full of ghosts and echos. Maybe I need to start pouring salt out there. 5 contacts on 40 tonight. Hopefully 20 will be better in morning.

Re: endorsement counts
Matthew King - AK4MK
Hey, Randy... a few things I just noticed in your log run from today. I've numbered the highlighted points below, 1-6. I point them out here so that all may see how closely one has to look at the report sometimes to see that it is actually accurate. 1 - the "run date" is indeed 05-Jan-2018 @ 16:32, so it's the current run with immediate results. They're just not what you expected! :-) I can explain that, I think, though... 2 - 20180104 is listed as the most recent 2018 date in your 365. That's because of.... 3 - 20170105-06 are already accepted by the 365 checker for those dates. You shouldn't expect to see any more January 2018 dates until you hit.... 4 - 20160109 is the last date before 20170116, so you can fill in the 10th-15th with 2018 dates and expect to see them show up here. It's just looking at the day and month, not the year for the 365 award. You'll achieve the 365 [180] level when you activate 10JAN (2018)! 5 - the BELGIUM award ended on 31DEC2017. It'll appear here for a bit longer, but no more QSOs will count towards it. 6 - just another sign that the run is current - you filled in a 24x7 slot with a QSO from today. (20180105 061131 N5ZTW 40M PSK31 061131 Fri-06:xx) to be specific! (we haven't forgotten about your 365 PDF that DOES appear to be screwed up - it'll just take David some time to get to it and sort it out, but the 365 checker itself is keeping an accurate tally) Keep on carryin' on, Randy - you're doing just fine! 73 Matt King AK4MK - 070 #1708 PODXS 070 Club Executive Director
