Need to fix the times.  Should be in EST.  Should have used GMT, which will be 1500 for DM85 and 1730 for DM74.

I plan on leaving Amarillo, TX around 10:30 MST.  DM85 starts about 10 miles from Amarillo, so I will start calling then.
DM74 is about 2 1/4 hours from Amarillo, so should be in that grid around 12:30 give or take.  I40 runs along the top of the grid, so only a few miles in that grid, from past Cuervo, NM to Clings Corners, NM.  If there is demand will stop at the rest stop to make contacts.

I will be on 20 mtrs, running about 80 watts using call sign of KC3EF/M for this effort.

Maybe we cud take the approach that their application includes
membership in the group and sign them up when approved. That way they

When I send the welcome message it goes to the group and the new member via his email address, so maybe a reply to all might ensure he gets your response.

Well stated Ray. Many members have more than one email, and it is not possible for management to determine which one they would want to register to the reflector with.

Not all members belong to the group, for example we have 2586 members and only a small fraction belong to the 070 group, and even smaller to 070_contests group.
