Maybe we cud take the approach that their application includes membership in the group and sign them up when approved. That way they wud see the emails. regards Barry

I want to thank the award folks and members for the 3 certificates and as many endorsements I rcvd while I was off.
2016 was not kind to me, and was in & out of the hospital 3 times, and in rehab once for a month.
When I got home I was not interested in Amateur radio, I returned to it in the spring of 2017.
Anyway, have been working on 365+1, and just got back to the PODXS site, and hope to be in the next contest.

Yeah, I discovered that after I sent that message. Will have to
figure out how to make sure replies get to the new member if they
are not on the reflector.

Jim: Just looked at your submission and it appears that you have it, but it didn't turn BLUE. What I did see was that for some reason the "Christmas" is highlighted in Blue and underscored while the "Run " is in bold type. When I put my cursor over the "Christmas" part, I get an ad for some Christmas Cross ! Is it possible you have a problem at your end ??? Jerry n9avy

I send out the welcome messages to new members right after I send them their membership email.
When you reply to one of those welcome messages most likely the new member has not requested access to the group, therefore they may not see your response. When I send the welcome message it goes to the group and the new member via his email address, so maybe a reply to all might ensure he gets your response. -- Jim, K5SP #483 Member Services Director
