Nothing left on top to fasten to.  The plastic ends that held crosspieces snapped and flew off car... might to junk yard to see if they have a couple off a wreck.  Have ratchet straps , but in this case, they would not have worked.

Have seen the aftermath of 6 ft ladder falling off truck and it tweren't purty !  Lotsa things fall off trucks, but never any cash !

It's all good, Jerry! You did seem a little out of sorts, so thanks for the words.

A 24ft ladder is a beast, especially when doing the wah-toozy on a major interstate at rush hour!

I once witnessed a 6-8 foot fiberglass stepladder fall out of a truck doing 80mph in I-85 in Atlanta. It was right in front of an 18 wheeler, thankfully, and did no harm to the truck (I don't reckon it did, anyhow). That thing looked like a bomb went off, as it just EXPLODED into a gajillion little pieces of blue fiberglass! The remaining grizzly carcass slid over to the inside pull-off lane and was barely identifiable as having once been a ladder.  Amazing the things that can happen with ladders.

Getcha come new ratchet straps in the morning, after you've processed that big, tall drink all night. *GRIN*

I used to have a 580’ horizontal loop; it was WONDERFUL on the air, but it was a bugger to keep in the air with all the old-growth trees dropping limbs all the time.

I’d love to put it up again someday.

I had a 160 dipole about 30ft off the ground and bent in an arrowhead shape at the feedpoint (looked like an L from overhead) and it worked pretty poorly, but got me enough PSK-31 contacts on 160 to get my 160/20 sticker!

Jerry - technically Orange would indicate that it's been submitted for approval. Once it's actually been approved and a new log is run, it'll turn blue to indicate that it's actually approved and in the trophy case.

Bright green, of course, means something is ready to be submitted, and the check box next to it needs to be checked and the SUBMIT button pressed.

Just a review for those who might not be familiar with the process!

It's all handled now. I re-ran your log and up popped the C&C in green, so I submitted it. That must be what Jerry just approved as I was going to go do it, but it was already done.

Anyhow, all is well now... You'll get the stickers in the next mailing, as the cut off for the current one (that's just about wrapped up) was 10/31.

As you know, Clock and Calendar requires that you first complete 24x7, Leap Day, 365 levels 90, 180, 270, 260, 365 & 366 FIRST, so we're proud of you!

CONGRATULATIONS, PAULA!

Not worried about the stickers – I had submitted the 366 and it turned orange on Nov. 18th right after I finished. I just now uploaded another log and it was accepted, and the Clock and Calendar turned green, so I submitted it and now it is orange. Don’t know why the 366 took so long.

Now that the Clock and Calendar is orange, will it show as approved as soon as it is approved, or do I have to upload another log to “refresh” it to see the approval?
