Am I remembering correctly that the log checker is not able to collate grid squares from ACLog?

It's been ages since I checked my grid totals...not sure if they are increasing or not.

Please join me in congratulating Stan – W9SMR - who yesterday completed his Work The World Award Series.  WTW is one of the “Crown Jewels” of the 070 Endorsements and requires completing 9 separate, ordered awards, a total of 2246 QSOs and years to achieve.  Stan completed the first level of this endorsement on Sept. 13, 2014.  He becomes only the 33nd person to complete the entire series in the 5+ years it has existed!

Congratulations Stan – well done!

If you select the records, and then Fill fields determined by call, doesn't that grab the grid locator and fill it In?

If not then I have hundreds,of records with no grid

Steve,

After I had gotten my 18ft rooftop tower and beam up (2009), I actually had a couple of neighbors suggest that I use them as a structure for Christmas lights.  Since we hang a fair number of them on several buildings and fences, etc., I did give it some thought, for the tower at least.

The only negative comment that I received on the addition was from one neighbor questioning whether my radio was causing their electric driveway gate opener to randomly function.  It turned out to be another neighbor's garage door remote control.

Well, actually a fellow ham said that the four rooftop antennas complex with rotators looked like a NASA tracking station. I guess that could be considered a negative.  Fortunately living in the country allows some latitude for judging beauty, HI HI.

Subject: Re: [070] Christmas spirit

Tom -

I think a NASA tracking station would be cool--then again, I'm in the satcom business.

I'm not sure my wife would agree...
