Re: signal still there
Harry Wilkins
"Years ago", I had a cat that loved to lay on top of the radio equipment, presumably for the heat the tubes gave off – I said it was years ago – many years ago. Anyway, one day I was in the living room and hearing what could almost pass for a very sloppy CQ, over and over again. I went to the radio room to find out that the cat had learned that when he taps the big red knob on my straight key, it makes a sound. Fortunately, I was in the habit of putting the SB401 in standby when not sitting in front of it (I also had two toddlers at the time) so I was sure I was the only one hearing the "cat call". Oh, what could have been…

Re: signal still there
Yup ! It happens. Definitely a PSK31 signal at idle. Blame the cat is a good idea. Years ago , WB8AWJ in Michigan had a cat in heat and the cat got into radio shack and fell in love with microphone. It was one of those old Turner desk mics with a PTT switch and a locking device. Well, said cat managed to somehow lock mic in transmit and for the next hour or so the cat was heard worldwide making sounds only a cat in love could make. Needless to say, my friend moved as far away as possible (ID, I think) as possible ! Jerry n9avy

Just looked at your 365 on the checker. Not bad... you have 179 slots worked and just one away from 180 point. Just keep making a contact for the days indicated by blank spots on
your chart and you'll get there in time. Many of these endorsement takes patience and that's what makes them fun. Unless you can build a time machine and go backward/forward to complete them !

And on the 365 page, your pdf shows most of Dec complete, which means 2016 q's.
