Re: 365 award

Yup!  Cumulative.  If you go to the 070 Awards Progress Checker, navigate to your personal standings page, and then click on 070-365 in the Awards Progress bar

[ Award Progress:     070-Endorsements     070-LONP     070-WTW     070-GRIDS     070-24x7     070-365 ]

it takes you to a summary status page.  Find your call in the listing and click on it.  That displays a very neat matrix that David - KJ4IZW - has devised that shows what days you have completed and which days you still need.

Just wondering, since when I looked at my contacts online, it only showed the calendar year, 2017

If you mean, do you have to do it all in one consecutive year, then no. It’s just getting all 365 days (plus Feb 29), however many years it takes you to get them all.

It's on going -- you don't have to "clean sweep" (365 consecutive days) it... So if you miss a day, you can get it the following year.

Have you ever played in one of the 070 PSK31 Contests?  They are low key, fun, and a great way work on endorsements.  First time contesters are very welcome and unlike some other contests, no one is going to bite your head off if you make some mistakes!  Non-members are also encouraged to get in and play.  You don’t have to be an 070 member to win!
All of our contests use the automated online KJ4IZW Contest Scorer.  No complicated scoring sheets to fill out.  No complex calculations.  Simply convert your log to ADIF format (most logging software provides this export function) and upload to the Contest Scorer.  It couldn’t be easier.
Our next contest is the Triple Play Low Band Sprint DOUBLEHEADER coming up December 9 –11.  You can get all the details by clicking HERE.

Congrats Matt!!  Great dedication, for sure.

I am close behind you.

Rick, N7WE noted after I made the 365+1 award last month that I needed only 8 "N" and 6 "I" calls for WTW.

Based on his challenge, I started to pay attention.

As of last nite I had my 8 "N" calls and needed just ONE more "I" call.

Any "I" call volunteers who have not worked W9SMR yet?

This is such a wonderful hobby!!

Please join me in congratulating Matt - AK4MK - who yesterday completed his Work The World Award Series.  This is a monumental achievement of 9 seperate, ordered awards requiring a total of 2246 QSOs and years to achieve.  Matt completed the first level of this endorsement on Dec. 6, 2013.  He becomes only the 32nd person to complete the entire series since it was introduced July 1, 2012.

Well done Matt!

It looks like a PSK31 signal with no data being sent. Surely, you know what this looks like...  like railroad tracks minus the crossties.

I've not seen the signal. So, I do not know what it sounds like, or what it looks like. Is it a possibility that it is something else? Some interference that is causing it to look like a carrier? I have seen this topic for weeks now. I have a hard time believing that any rig or power supply would last continuously for this long.

I've setup my station so that when I flip a switch all my radios, power supplies, rotator control box, and desk lap turn off. This allows me to monitor and disconnect them as I need. Mostly for the safety of my equipment, but this is another good reason too it looks like.

Go get them Stan!  Sorry I don't have an "I" to hand out and I don't think the scorer would allow you to substitute an "W" for and "I".   But it will be there soon.

Hang in there, Stan - the last one is the most frustrating one!

I saw 3 other "O's" yesterday that could not hear me before I finally scored my last one, a guy that I'd tried for 2 days and was finally able to get.

If I had an "I", I'd sure give it to ya! :-)
