Re: Scheduled APEs This Weekend
Larry
The Texas Boys have started their APE early. W5GSM setup this afternoon and he is making some contacts. This year we will be operating mostly on 20M during the day and 40M evening and night. On the hour we will switch over to 17M days / 30M nights for 15 minutes to make contact on these bands - come and get your PODXS 17 or 30M awards. We give custom QSL cards and certificates.

W7RIV
W7RIV will be operating on Saturday (8/19). I also need to make a change in location. It will be from DN30. I'll make an effort down the road for DM39. Bryon - W7RIV

Anyone else unable to upload to the awards checker correctly?
David Blankenburg, AK7DB
Back on July 21, I uploaded my files to finish my 366 award which did show up correctly but I received an error on the upload and the rest of my awards are now all screwed up and subsequent uploads have not corrected the issue. Is anyone else having this problem? I've been working with the PODXS staff to try and get it fixed, I just wondered if this issue was unique to me. Dave, AK7DB

Re: LOTW Worked All States
Richard Rohrer
Hi Dave, I know what you mean. When I lived in MD I would never hear DE on any of the bands. The xyl's girl friend lives in DE so we go up three or four times a year. I know for certain we will be there around Thanksgiving for about a week. Looks like possibility for Sept also. I have put together a portable station to take with me so I can try and give out some DE contacts. I will let you know when I am headed there again. 73 Dick KC3EF

Dick,
I'll try and remember to look for you, hopefully we can schedule something. I need DE for a 40m WAS and 2 or 3 other 40m awards on LOTW and elsewhere. It seems like every award I need always comes down to DE and VT. Dave, AK7DB

N8GU/VY2 from PEI - Lighthouse, Marconi Museum, and NA-029
Bob, N8GU/VY2 is currently on 14.070 + about 1300 from Cape Bear Lighthouse (CA 0049) on Prince Edward Island. He is operating near the Marconi Museum. I think he plans to be there thru the Lighthouse Weekend. But you can get him now! This is a province that is not often on using PSK. It is also IOTA NA-029. Rick - N7WE 070 - #1602

Re: OD5KU Lebanon
ljl2002@att.net
Paul, I saw him up here in CT with a very good signal unfortunately he was hijacked twice by someone calling CQ right on top. He moved and I followed but never got another chance before he faded. He seems to be a regular so I'll keep looking at the same time each day. Ya never know. Saw you with the usual strong sig though. 73 Joe KA1PPV #1482
