Re: A Question For the FLdigi Users in Here

Hi Eric,

I had the same problem as you when I changed from DM780 to Fldigi.  It seems to be based on what you are using for rig control.  I could get it to work with Rigcat.  Could never get Flrig to work correctly.  Got everything working and then decided that I like DM780 better and changed back.

Hello All,

That’s where My K3’s 400hz filter centers out at. No matter what I do it jumps to +1000 — about 500z out of my passband. I’ve hit the “Store” button to no avail.

I even resorted to such drastic measures as RTFM. The documentation isn’t very good, IMO. They talk about an “M>” button that I have yet to find.

Any light you guys might be able to shed on this would be appreciated.

Dave,

I am in NC and occasionally try 160 psk31 at 1807.  Have about 20 states and Canada confirmed.  Good for about 500 miles on a good night.  There will be some club activity in contests in fall and winter.  Tstorms here in the southeast make it hard to use until fall.  I have a 160 meter Carolina Windom.  Probably could do better with a separate low noise antenna on receive.

Just wondered if there's been any activity on 160m lately.  I finally have a compromise antenna that will let me attempt to play on that band but as expected the noise floor is quite high.

The ships came in for me this weekend in CT.  Saturday was better than Sunday.
I was able to log USS Alabama BB-60, SS Drum SS-228, HL Hunley and surprisingly HMCS Onondaga S-73 from Canada.
I couldn't get through to the Dolphin S-61 (EH5SUB) Spain.  Would have liked to get that one. I also made several Q's with PskFest stations.
All in all a good result for me.

Wish it were like this all of the time.

Good morning,
All of you on the eastern half of the USA had a much better time than us towards the Left coast.
Most of the stations I worked was Double Hop Es to NY, VA & GA.
The one who calls CQ, answered my CQ.  And I was grateful :)

Look this way today and help me out after church. 18:00 UTC.
It looks like you all in the east have propagation.  Europe is really open this morning with some Trans Atlantic thrown in.

Hope for good things.  73 Art KA5DWI/7 AZ 070#2518 10X#40849

Things aren't too bad here in central FL.  Managed 4 Special Event stations for Museums Ships this morning in less than an hour - NJ, MD, AL, and TX.  Right now I'm copying signals from Italy to Columbia to California on 20m.  Plenty of activity. Some QSB, but if you hang in and are quick, you can make QSOs!  Maybe things have improved this afternoon.  Jump on and have a go!
