saw you several times with a big signal on 10 meters today, but it looked like you were drowned in the pile you built up. 73's Erika/DL2AYL

Re: The Rumble
As a dedicated QRP'er on PSK (orginally not by choice,
used a PSK-20, now with TS-570DG by choice)with poor attic antennas, the best advice for seeing weak stations: 1)PLEASE turn off the squelch - worst invention in ham software; 2) Use the spectrum display not the waterfall - faster and more sensitive. I use Hamscope 1.4 in always contest mode but as always your mileage will vary. Great contest. Thanks to everyone listening to this peanut whistle and cards will be on the way. ---- 070@yahoogroups.com wrote: Yes Duncan, your signal was really good here, but asit is, some people you can call all day and they won't see your trace...and we had a qso, you beaming short path and my beam on the long path...maybe it doesn't matter in our case.. hi.a lot of fun. 73's Erika/DL2AYLspectacles next time! Had a great time in the Fall Rumble. It was nice to
work some of the you from last time and some new ones this time. I
finally got to work a SV on 15M, I thought for awhile that they stayed off of
that band so I could not get the SV-Tri Band. I had to really work at that one.
It was nice to work the other Teams and most of you on the Team I was
on. I even had a few ragchews and told a few others about the Rumble and gave
the address out so they could try it out next time. Good Luck to all and may the
best team win, The 070 Busters.

just export the log as a ADI file and you can up load the whole thing to the data base so the people that like the e-cards are real happy. I use e-qsl cards but I still like the old cards the best and look better on the wall. Steve D N6YIH/7

OK...I am going to the sub again....Now to see if I can get my days
and times right...I will be there working PSK31 on Sunday, October 7th from 1600 Z to 2000 Z....that is 9:00am to 1:00pm PST. Hopefully I got the days right this time. If not, just turn on your rig and just keep looking for me. Call sign of the sub is NJ6VT. I know that you might be a bit pooped out after the Rumble (I hear the Top Dogs will win), but give a listen on Sunday. Freq's - I will start on 21.071, and may also try 28.121 If 15 and 10 condx are poor I will move to 20 meters. 73, Steve KQ6VH
