Rick,

The only lines that I am seeing today are white ones. (I'm on the road)
But the day is coming when I will be able to act on an email like this one.

Good morning.  We had a very nice 20m opening to Europe this morning as the grey line passed.  Easily worked from Serbia west to England.  Pretty much all domestic now except for the usual French stations.
Hope it opens for those to the west of this location as the sun creeps up!

Get them while you can.  Solar forecast is for the coronal hole to become earth effective and the solar wind create magnetic storming by tomorrow - UTC.

Re: LONP Credits?

Steve W3HF

Paula -

LONP "credits" are stations (points) that have been recorded by the scorer and reflected in formal totals. Typically, the "credits" are the ones that existed when you last applied for a LONP upgrade.

Your awarded LONP level is (at this instant) 250, but you likely had 257 members worked (your "credits") when you applied for the 250 level.

Now that you are over 300, you can (and did) apply for that next level. Assuming that the application is acted on before you work another member (and re-upload), you will then be shown as 303 credits and an awarded level of 300. As you progress towards 350, your LONP (points) worked total will climb, but the "credit" and "level" will stay the same until your next application.

FYI, 3 Dec is Skywarn Day. There will be some extra stations showing up (even on PSK!) with /NWS or other identifiers. Some of these may be in interesting grid squares, as NWS has stations around the US.

P.S. Exchange is callsign, signal report, QTH and a one or two word "weather report"

Jeff:

Your signal  tonight was actually about  337   and got steadily worse.  Path just was good between us.  Missed about 80% at end.   Didn't want to rush off, but the rain here and lousy condx  just made everything rough.

Worked a NC station earlier  and saw Mat  and Rick in QSO, but Matt's signal was deteriorating fast while  Rick's held up.  Other than that not much else heard up here.

There's also  31  days left  to catch some 9A  (Croatia)  stations.  Read somewhere there are some special event stations using 9A70  prefixes that end on 12/31.

Unless we get some great propagation in next 4 weeks, the 20 (a stations for the endorsement will be a near impossibility unless we can find a remote station in Europe, hi, hi !    :-)
